PowerPoint was born in 1984 (made famous by George Orwell and Apple), and ever since then it's been a fantastic, crazy, exciting road. There is a lot of work that needs to be done in order to overcome a quarter century of terribleness being foisted off on PowerPoint audiences around the world. It's bad, but it doesn't have to stay bad.
